How to increase speed communication over VCP driver

Default speed communication seems to be 9600 bauds with VCP driver, that gives less than 100Hz maximum frequency acquisition for one analogic input.

Is it possible, and if possible how, to increase speed communication in order to increase data frequency acquisition to about 1kHz ?

Hello fmartin,

The 9600 bauds setting is not relevant (this is an emulated COM port).
The ÁChameleon will always use the fastest possible transfer speed on USB (1MBytes/s).
ADC hardware maximum sampling rate is 50kHz, and with current interpreter firmware, actual sampling rate is around 4kHz.

Hello SPS Support Team,

I have just bought a boxed uChameleon device.
I need at least 2 kHz analog input sampling rate for my application.

I am not able to get 4kHz with the utilities that come together with the device.
Is there any utility or example code to demonstrate 4 kHz speed?

It is a bit shabby marketing the device as 50kHz sampling on the ADC, when the firmware can't go faster than 4kHz, and no-one can even reach that speed.

Has a code snippet that runs at 4kHz been posted yet?  I can't find it.

I only want about 200Hz sampling on 7 channels (faster would be better as I could use the speed to increase the bit resolution via filtering), but I haven't got above 60Hz on a single channel as yet :-(
